Alexander & Veronicca
Dear Readers,
In my blog posts, you’ll probably see me referencing this man a lot, so it feels only fair to tell you a little about our story. Yes… it is a love story. 💖
Meet Alexander:
Alexander and I first crossed paths in January of 2023, when he popped into an establishment I was working at in Second Life. And yes — I was a stripper 😆
Hey, a girl’s gotta make a living when she has an SL shopping habit like mine. Don’t judge! 😄
We chatted a bit, he left, and then he’d pop in occasionally. Nothing dramatic — just one of those familiar faces you notice but don’t think too much about.
Fast forward to August 2023. I was no longer working at that club (sadly, it closed), and I had started working at a brand-new venue. One day, Alexander popped in… and it immediately caught my attention. I knew I hadn’t messaged or invited him — yet there he was. Later, I found out he had actually been looking for me.
Then… poof. Alexander disappeared again.
Until November 2023, when he reappeared — this time more consistently, popping in about every couple of weeks. And then came April 7th, 2024.
I was having a particularly rough day, logged in, and found the sweetest message waiting for me… along with a rose 🌹. It instantly made my day. This man — who I had always assumed was just another club visitor, coming for entertainment — went out of his way to make me smile without even being there, and without expecting anything in return.
That meant something.
And it was only the beginning.
Alexander began old-school courting me. Thoughtful messages. Sweet gestures. Genuine attention. He absolutely swept me off my feet in a way I never expected. Not only was he spoiling me and enjoying our playful moments, but he genuinely wanted to spend time together — exploring Second Life, sharing interests, talking, laughing. Those sweet messages eventually extended beyond the virtual world, too.
I’ve been in Second Life for a long time, and I can honestly say I’ve never met anyone quite like him. I’ve never been one to jump on the SL relationship bus, and I never thought I’d fall in love in a virtual world. So yes… this was all very new to me.
Now, in our virtual life, we spend every moment we can together. We genuinely enjoy each other’s company. He’s become my best friend — and so much more.
This may seem silly to some, but this is our virtual life. In real life, we live on two different continents, and being together will take time and patience as we navigate real-world challenges. But it is one of our goals, and something we both hope for someday.
Until then… you’re going to see us together a lot here. 💞
I love and adore him with all my heart, so fair warning — this blog will almost certainly include plenty of Alexander moments along the way.
