I feel extra pretty today… is it okay to say that? chuckles
Sometimes you slip into an outfit or find that one special piece that makes your whole mood sparkle. The kind that makes you want to twirl around your living room and maybe dance a little. That’s exactly how I feel today. This look is a soft mix of a few new treasures I picked up at current events paired with some longtime favorites from my closet, and together they just work.
This outfit makes me feel so feminine and delicate — almost like I’m a walking flower. And not going to lie, I absolutely love feeling like this. I could easily spin into a full-on Second Life fairytale moment with a soundtrack and everything… but instead I’ll be good and share the details so you can feel this pretty too. ♥First up is this delicate off-shoulder lace corset top I found at FaMESHed by Dhoma. Technically it’s listed as a dress and comes with matching panties (yes, I’m wearing them!), but I just can’t quite bring myself to wander around the grid with my vajayjay out on display — and let’s be honest, Alex probably wouldn’t be a fan either. smirks
The moment I saw it though, I didn’t see a dress — I saw the most romantic, feminine corset. The sheer sleeves and softly structured bodice hug the waist in such a flattering way that feels elegant without losing that cozy, lived-in charm. The creamy ivory tone almost glows against the skin and gives everything a dreamy, storybook softness. You all know how much I adore neutrals, though I may have to sneak back for the black and soft pink versions too.
I paired it with my absolute favorite cascading denim skirt from Salt & Pepper. This skirt has been a staple in my wardrobe for ages, and together with the corset it blends rustic and whimsical so beautifully. It feels like countryside romance but still comfortable enough to wander, explore, and maybe pick a few virtual flowers along the way.
The lace-up boots are another beloved staple from Ichuly that I don’t get to wear nearly enough. I adore them, but they can be a little tricky to style — this ensemble practically begged for them to come out and play though, and they tied everything together perfectly.
And then there’s the floral crown from LODE at the Dubai event — easily the heart of the entire look. Full blossoms and tiny delicate details frame the face like a garden in bloom, adding just the right touch of fairytale sweetness. It makes the whole outfit feel like a quiet spring moment captured in time.
Normally I wouldn’t include quite this many photos for one outfit, but I had a little fun experimenting with lighting and effects. The first image is lightly edited with some lighting touches in Photoscape, while the second is a gorgeous windlight straight out of Second Life. Sometimes the world really does all the work for you.
Anyway… without further ado, here’s how you can get the look and feel just as pretty today as I do.
